What a find!! Rolex Oyster Perpetual ref. 6584 made in 1955. This is a rare reference model having a solid 14K gold case with a stainless steel back. These models were often referred to as “Tropic”. The case is in beautiful condition for it’s almost 60 year age. We detailed it lightly. The watch is powered by a chronometer movement cal. 1030. The dial is beautiful, frosty silver with yellow gold hour markers, logo crown and ROLEX below the crown. The dial is refinished in my view and done superbly well. Original sword hands and blued steel seconds hand. The watch is running well and keeping good time. As of this writing there were no other 6584 models being offered for sale anywhere on the Internet. This tells you how rare this model is !! Priced here at $4400.
