Here is a beautiful and rare vintage Omega ref. 2514 in 18K solid gold case dating to early 1950s. I purchased this watch several years ago. The oyster color dial had been redone in the past. Some of the printing of minute marks towards the top of the dial is missing, however this is hard to notice unless really looking for it. The gold hands and gold applied hour markers stand out for easy legibility. The hands are in nice condition as is the crystal.
This watch measures 33 mm across and is 40.3 mm long. The lugs are 18 mm wide!! There are a couple of small scratches on the edge of the case back. The movement of this watch is a bumper automatic chronometer cal. 343 with 17 jewels. Adjusted to 5 positions and temperature.
Out of 5000 pieces total, how many in 18K gold? The movement is running well. The 18K stamp appears on the inside of the case cover as well as on the outside edge at 6 o’clock position. The leather band was made in France and is in great condition. This watch will get you many compliments, I am sure 🙂 Priced at $2800 Make Offer Text 702 526 8524
