At the center of the cluster is round brilliant cut diamond measuring 5.15 x 5.23 mm. Based on these measurements it’s weight should be 1/2 carat. In our opinion it is of H,I color and VS clarity. The center diamond is surrounded by 21 smaller diamonds. These average 0.10 carat each to a total approx. weight of 2.10 carats. The smaller diamonds are mostly G,H, in color and VS in clarity. We spotted only one with an imperfection, classifying it in the SI grade. This ring measures 19 mm at the top and tapers to 3.8 mm at the bottom of the shank. The ring extends 14.2 mm above the finger. It weighs 15.4 grams. The free form organic looking design is very interesting. The main part of the ring was cast in 18K yellow gold while the cluster part was cast in white gold. The ring is stamped but it is not very legible. We have tested the gold with an acid test and it does test as 18K gold. We had re-tipped a few of the prongs and polished the ring to make it look great. In the sun or strong artificial light the diamonds shimmer like a 10 carat diamond. We have taken a short video so you can see how amazing it looks in motion.
