Heavy 18K gold Panther brooch pave` set with diamonds and bezel set sapphires. The eyes are set with rubies. The brooch measures 54 mm across by 46 mm high. It is yellow gold though most of the front area is rhodium plated as customary for pave` diamond set piece. It weighs 32.1 grams. There are approx. 180 diamonds measuring from 1.7 mm ( 2 point size ) to 2.1 mm ( 4 point size ). I estimate the total diamond weight to be about 5.4 carats. The diamonds range from SI to VS in clarity and I,J in color. There are also numerous sapphires set throughout and their measurements are as follows: Oval: 5 mm x 3.7 mm., Pear: 5 mm x 3.4 mm and 4 mm x 3.7 mm. Marquise: 2 pieces 4.3 mm x 2 mm and 1 piece 3.8 mm x 1.8 mm Round: 10 pieces measuring from 1.5 mm to 2.4 mm. All above sapphires are bezel set. There are also 4 bead set sapphires of 2 mm in diameter. The eyes of the panther are set with 2 round rubies. If you would rather wear it as a pendant we can attach a bale for the chain.
