Here is a vintage 1950s Rodania in an 18K Red Gold case. Only a small percentage of watches were made back then in pink and red gold cases. For this reason they are more desirable than yellow gold cases. Also some watch manufacturing companies were designing watch cases with fancy lugs or hooded lugs. Such is this one. This case measures 33.9 mm across by 40.6 mm long. It has a screw back case cover. The 25 jewels automatic movement is running well. I have taken a few photos showing this watch next to a 14K yellow gold Omega to show the color difference. The case without the movement and crystal weighs 14.2  grams.
