18K gold cased LeCoultre chronograph with Valjoux 72 movement. Unusual design cut into the bezel and lugs that I have not seen in any other watch. Some collectors suggested to me over the few years I have owned it that the design cut into the case and lugs was not original. I did not believe it for a minute and now finally I have a proof!!
A very nice gentlemen sent me an e-mail informing me that he has a LeCoultre catalog from many years ago that clearly shows this watch as an original factory issue!!
Diameter is 35 mm across, length is 42.8 mm. Original dial with blue tachymetre scale. Blued steel chronograph hands. 18K custom made buckle. LOT#4S6 . Here is one that sold at Antiquorum auction for over $4300 Antiquorum
