Here is a quite collectible Rolex Submariner model 5513 dating to 1969 based on the case serial number of 2.29 million. The case back is stamped inside I 72. This model is often referred to as James Bond model. This 46 year old Rolex is in superb condition. Matte dial with painted luminous that has acquired a nice patina over the decades. The hands match nicely too. The case is unbelievable, either never repolished after leaving the factory or polished ever so lightly. The crystal has a few minor scuffs and one more pronounced scratch at 2 min. marker. We did not try to polish it out. The movement is a 26 jewel cal. 1560 automatic. The watch comes with oyster bracelet reference 78360 with end pieces 280 and 580. The 280 end piece has a couple of dings on it. The bezel insert has some imperfections.
