Offered here is a nice Patek Philippe made for M. Scooler in New Orleans. The 14K gold hunter case measures 47.3 mm across. There are 2 gold covers on the back side of the case and an additional one with a crystal to allow a view of the movement yet keeping it protected from the dust. The case was made by Jeannot & Shiebler of NYC. The firm made cases for many if not most of the imported Patek Philippe movements and many of the other high end movements imported into the USA. These J&S cases are generally very high quality and comparable in many ways to the Swiss cases made for Patek and marked as such. Single sunk porcelain dial with a faint hairline from 12:01 to the center. The bow is gold filled and could be replaced with a 14K gold one.
