What a beautiful pocket watch by Elgin. I bought this watch because I was amazed by the level of craftsmanship shown here. The flowers motif, the case, the white metal background – 4 colors. The white metal is most likely platinum. On the back cover a bird in 3 gold colors and flowers with 6 rose cut diamonds. The inside back cover contains a compartment to place a photo. A watch case such as this one would be very difficult to duplicate nowadays and very costly!!
