It is stamped 18K and MA. We tested it with an 18K gold acid test as well. It checks out as 18K gold.
Presently the ring has 2 small beads of gold soldered inside the shank. This was probably done to prevent the ring from turning or as a way to make it fit a smaller finger without cutting a piece of the shank out.
The ring was appraised on 11.14.2019 by Richard C. Huntington GG, ICGA, ASA Master Gemologist Appraiser at $5412.50 as a Retail Replacement Value with Nevada sales tax included. $5000 before tax. We also have a gem laboratory report done on this tourmaline.
