Very beautiful antique 18K yellow gold brooch set with diamonds.
The diamonds are old cut and the total weight of diamonds is approx. 2.55 carats.
Center oval cut diamond is approx. 0.30 ct.
20 additional diamonds ranging in size from 0.07 cts. to 0.17 cts. to a total weight of 2.25 carats.
The broach measures 28 mm by 28 mm. It weighs 9.6 grams.
The gold has oxidized over many years and we have barely highlighted some sections but wanted to leave the aged look. The pin has a hallmark of an eagle’s head.
This piece can also be worn on a chain as there is an attachment there for the chain.
Priced now at $4750 based on the Market Value Appraisal done by J. Michael Tracy Certified Graduate Gemologist on February 2nd 2016 and gold market of $1130/oz. Price subject to change.

Vintage Grand Period Victorian Etruscan Revival watch chatelaine brooch measuring 28.0mm in length by 28.0mm in width, hand fabricated, gallerie bridge, twisted wire and granulation detailed with “c” catch, extended stem on tube hinge and chatelaine hook findings, polished finish,stamped with hallmark of French origin and gold purity, Circa: 1865 total weight 9.6 grams.
