Our solid gold deployants are totally hand made out of 14K or 18K gold. The three parts that are used to attach your leather strap to the deployant are cast. The heavy curved section is cut out of a rolled ingot of gold and then cut into 3 sections. This section is formed, cut and then drilled where needed. All pieces are then filed, sanded and polished prior to assembly. There is soldering and riveting involved. Then final fit and final polishing.
